activesync via bt

ok, I have a 100m dongle and am trying 2 sync via bt. it dosen't want 2 work. using bluesolil client on pc have serial port sevices setup but hangs when connecting to host.

anyone else tried this?

oh yeh, have incoming set 2 com4 and outgoing set to com5. it does manage to open the port but no further.

ok, think i got it 2 sync with pc bt client but not pc activesync. slight sucess but not much kop.

HAHAHA, yesyes. got it - may be order of events.

make sure setting in sync on both devices are set 2 bt.

discover, pair, connect via bt on ppc. job done. MINT.

do not know if it will work easily again, may have to stay in-range forever.

ok, went to show someone, lost connection. got new connection ok so i'd say once you manage to get it working it should stay working.

now, if i could just find a wireless POWER method. ;)

Wow!! This is the first thread i have read where the topic starter diagnoses him problem, and then finds his solution.

Glad you got it working. BT Activesync is very handy for those times without the cable.
