Does Journal Bar slow down your JAM ?

I had the Journal Bar plugin installed and it seemed to slow down my JAM every 10 seconds or so (very noticable when playing Space Invaders ;)) - deactivated it and everything now seems fine ..... have I done something wrong or is Journal Bar a bit buggy ???

Dunno, I had the latest version of weather panel from marsware installed and it slowed the refresh down terribly. Works absolutely fine on my (slower) Ipaq 1940 though. Must be something to do with system memory allocation and today screen plugins...
