Guest mossywell Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 In the new French ROM (4.2.2.1), has anyone else noticed that the # (hash) key no longer switches between line 1 and line2?
Guest martin Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 Do you have line 2 activated ? Sometimes the line switching is not available until line 2 is detected by the phone.

Anyone else noticed this?

Guest mossywell Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 ...is anyone clever enough to write an app that can swap the lines? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, me. :cheesy: 1. Create a file called switchlines.cpl.xml and dump this in it: 2. Create a file called "Switch Lines.lnk" and dump this in it: 23#"\Windows\settings.exe" switchlines.cpl.xml 3. Copy the lnk file somewhere in the start menu. I put mine in Accessories. 4. Now all you need is an app that copies the xml file to the \Windows directory every time the phone reboots. Here's one I prepared earlier... http://www.mossywell.com/downloads/#CopyFiles When you install it, it automatically puts itself in the StartUp folder so it gets run after each reboot. It copies files from anywhere and of any type to the \Windows folder (all configured in the CopyFiles.config file). By default it (he says, quickly going back to the source code...) copies files of type *.wav, *.xml and *.mos that are in the same directory as the executable itself. (Destination folder is hard-coded.) 5. After installation, copy the xml you craeted earlier to the executable location (\Storage\Program Files\Mossywell\Copy Files) on the phone. 6. So now all you need to do it run the Switch Lines shortcut et voila! (I have a speed dial set to run Switch Lines to make line switching even faster.) OK, I admit, it doesn't actually change the lines for you, but it does send to straight to the menu that does. Maybe one day, I'll knock something up that changes the line directly. HTH M
