Mda wifi gone crazy. xbackup not restoring either

My mda went mad this weekend and refused to function correctly with my sandisk wifi sdcard. Been running fine for about a month then just wouldnt associate with my access point (kept saying associating with any??), if i manually added a connection it dissapeared, couldnt change the connect to settings, when changed "networks to access" to "all available" it kept switching back to "only computer to computer", basically refused to work. Did a hard reset and restored from an xbackup i did the previous week (fully working at that time) and it still wouldnt work, did a hard reset and just installed the sandisk drivers and it worked fine.Now ive got to re-install all my apps again and try to remember all the little tweaks ive done over the past month, well p***ed off. I was under the impression that xbackup backed up a full image of the phone like norton ghost therefore restoring the phone to a previous working state, ive restored a couple of times when ive done something bad whilst tweaking and its always worked fine, does xbackup not do a ghost style backup??

sorry to hear about your problems, Xbackup is a basic backup facility, you are better off using something like sprite backup

Odd, I found Xbackup did a complete restore - mails, settings everything.

Shame I only wanted information from one deleted email.......

Had to backup to spare SD
