Guest mossywell Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 Sorry about such a silly question, but does anyone know how to edit a shortcut (lnk) file? Creating and deleting them is easy, but I want one with a load of arguments on the command line, so I planned to create it with just the exe and then edit it with all the args. Any ideas?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted April 25, 2005 Report Posted April 25, 2005 You edit the LNK using your PC's Notepad. A sample LNK's contents: 78#"\Storage Card\Program Files\BinaryFish\Art of Positions\Art of Positions.exe"

Now I feel really stupid for not trying the obvious. Well anyway, it put me out of my misery. Cheers!
