This week's 'Game of the Week' is an absolute cracker... as anyone who has played either it or the original will testify... 'Pocket Mini Golf 2' from Momentum Games!

(you know what i'm going to say)... We've tracked down Neil from Momentum Games to give us the lowdown ;)

Hi Neil and thanks for speaking to MoDaCo! Please introduce yourself!

My name is Neil and I'm the backbone of Momentum Games :D However, I couldn't do what I do without the input and talent from James (my brother: programmer, games designer and level designer), Nick (a good friend and superb graphics designer), David (another superb graphics guy), Dan (yet more graphics talent).

Describe Pocket Mini Golf 2 in your own words

PMG2 is absolutely the best golf game available. A huge variety of levels (both graphically and from a design point-of-view) with genuinely fun game elements. There are a ton of game options (including multiplayer) and it'll take ages for even the best golfers to master all of the courses and game types (standard, arcade etc). There are basically hours and hours of golfing/puzzle fun.

What makes Pocket Mini Golf 2 worth buying above other Smartphone games?

The nice thing with a golf game is that you can dip in and out of it. The game auto-saves when you exit so you can either play for a couple of minutes or hours...whatever suits. We feel that this is the perfect type of game for a mobile device. It's also very addictive! (as was the original Pocket Mini Golf). PMG2 is following in the footsteps of the award winning Pocket Mini Golf...however we've gone to great lengths to improve every single aspect of the original.

What can we expect to see next for Pocket Mini Golf 2, and in general from Momentum Games?

We released the "Winter Wonderland" expansion pack for Pocket Mini Golf 2 at launch and have plans to release a number of other expansion packs over the next 12 months...so keep your eyes peeled! Each expansion pack will add to the already overwhelming feature set of PMG2 and we hope each one will be met with as much enthusiasm as the main game has received. As for other games....we have a few ideas in the pipe-line and we'll be fleshing them out over the next few months. One thing you can guarantee from Momentum Games: if we don't like it then we won't release it....if we love it then there'll be another top title for sale that won't disappoint.
