Guest Kinch Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 I have searched the site. And off topic .... this site is far too large for its own good. Taken me 20 mins to find the most appropriate place for this thread, and still not sure its right !!! Far too many levels of forum. ANYWAY Can anyone recomend a decent calendar for teh SPV C500. I have heard of PowerCalendar and Papylius, and they seem OK, but not sur if they are what i ened. I need one like AgendaFusion on a PDA ie to be able to: - Show a weeks list on one screen - input dates that i can make regular every 5 weeks (shift work on a 5 week pattern) - put at least 3 entries for each day - alarm dates i enter - be easy to navigate Cheers for any help.

Guest dh Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 The main bit missing from power calendar is the week / month view, looks like Papyrus does this well
Guest iainmann Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 I've found Papyrus is the best...and it's constantly being improved. Look at the forums on the developer's site. www.sbsh.net

I shall read that site you sent and probably end up buying it. Ta peeps
Guest chucky.egg Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 No problems with Papyrus that I know of, but the SBSH guys are constantly developing it, so there might be some niggles immediately after each update and before they've fixed them.
Guest hicks Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Another satisfied Papyrus user here ;)
Guest drblow Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 More votes for papyrus! I wouldn't let any issues put you off papyrus at all - their support is so good that if an issue is affecting people badly, you can be sure it wont be long til it's fixed.

I do not know how many users out there to use "quick view list" in Monthly view. ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I use the quickview list, but my wife does complain the I set the resolution on my computer monitor too high and that I am going to go blind, so maybe I'm not the best example. But either way, Papyrus is my vote for best calendar application. Its current features are pretty good, but it's SBSH customer service that just seals the deal. Papyrus just keeps getting better at such an impressive pace.
Guest rameses Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Papyrus would get my vote also. Looks like a landslide in their favour at the mo'
Guest zyphaz Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Does Papayrus work with all of the standard homescreen plugins for appointments?
Guest argh Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 (edited) Yes, the backend is still the same calendar database used by the standard built in calendar. Edit: Oh, but you may want to take a look at Facade (also from SBSH and currently free as it is in beta). It is a very nice homescreen plugin for calendars (doesn't need Papyrus to run). Guest Disco Stu Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Since we're sharing the love I'd like to tell the group that my life wasn't complete until I embraced SBSH :) Papyrus + Facade + DrBlow's homescreens = 8)
