ok till recently my flashed mpx200 (wm2003) was working 100% properly but yesterday for some reason when I answer a phone call, the speaker wont emit sound, i switch to speakerphone and the call is there. im like what the heck!

this is an ATT wireless phone

so i re-flash with hard reset and it works but then it happens again

im soo troubled by this and wonder if anyone has gotten a similar problem or can advice me on what to do to remedy this issue.

btw : can it be that a key on the phone is screwed up (ie stuck and being pressed) that can cause such a problem? or could it be the speaker on the phone , if so why is it that sometimes the calls work and sometimes they dont.

ive fiddled with it and kept one of the soft keys pressed and i hear the sound, im just guessing its a key thats stuck like the volume key on the side, but windows doesnt report it to be muted

im starting to pull my hair out, appreciate any help you guys can give me

ok scratch that last post, it works on and off. im guessing it could be a wire thats lose to the earpiece or something of the sort.

does anyone recommend that I open it up and have a look @ it?

or just go on ebay and sell it for cheap

its starting to get on my nerves, im guessing its b/c of that last drop it had , the freaking number 8 key is hard to press now, wasnt before =(

It is possible that the connector strip has become loose and is definately worth looking at, as long as you have the right tools.

For help on taking the phone apart have a look at my guide in the top of this section.
