Guest birlest Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 Could someone tell me how to lower down a bit the loud volume of the wav file called Moto_Startup and Moto_Powerdown, that plays turning on or off the telephone. May be it's enough to fix something in the registry. Thanks
Guest i_oWn_u Posted April 26, 2005 Report Posted April 26, 2005 for me i just turn the volume down when i shut the phone off or turn it on
Guest birlest Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 Yep that goes for me too <{POST_SNAPBACK}> OK, but I am looking for the solution allowing to pre-set a lower volume, without pressing the button each time.

Guest mvsmith07 Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 I've just cleared the values in the registry entries so there is no sound at all. Who needs them? Personally, not me. In case someone else wants to do the same the registry entries are: HKCU\Control Panel\Sounds\PowerOnWave HKCU\Control Panel\Sounds\Shutdown I just deleted the values in the Sound entry.

Just change the value of field "On" from 1 to 0.
