ohh, can i try ;)

after trying filterone for a week or so, i couldn't find a real use for it, maybe its because i don't give my mobile number out to random sex crazed stalkers, or im just unpopular.

It’s a strange concept for a phone app, something to block incoming calls as I found the ‘oldskool’ method worked well for me (all known/wanted numbers in a call group with a ring tone, all unwanted numbers in another group with a silent ring tone)

Conclusion: it didn’t blow up the phone, molest the cat or turn my milk into cheese

It did block calls, get me into trouble for missing calls and make me feel like a social outcast

Would I buy it? No, I have the ability to sleep through the ring of my phone, and people know not to phone me before 12 on the weekends

Would I buy it if I was having stalker problems or kept putting my phone number in public places? Maybe, depends if changing my number is a major problem

Seriously though folks... I used to use SmartFilter to block calls from customers after my "shift" had ended. You can set times of day, and groups of numbers etc, so these things do have some use

using it to filter calls after nightshift is a good idea, but exchange and my office phonesystem does that for me, and tells them "you are third in the que, you call is important to us, please hold, if you bought a gold support contract you wouldn't be listening to this, if you would like a gold support contract press 1 or press 2 to continue to hold >click

This is a pretty messed up way to get a review though. Usually the companies send us the stuff then we decide to review it if its worth it/cost loads/is a popular talking point ;)
