Guest RobMiles Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 Incoming news of a Microsoft Mobile Development conference aimed at students... Microsoft and the University of Hull are organising a Mobile Development Conference. It is aimed at students who are working with mobile devices, or just about to start using them - either in undergraduate projects or as part of a research effort. The conference is being held at Microsoft Thames Valley Park site in Reading, UK, on the 18th July 2005. We will be having sesions from Microsoft on latest mobile news, expert sessions on mobile SQL, Bluetooth, interfacing and other topics. We will also have some "getting started" sessions for those new to writing code for Smartphone and Pocket PC. Students can also give "micro presentations" about their work to win a Smartphone prize. All students are welcome to attend. Registration is free. You can find out more (and register) at the web page for the conference. Rob Miles Conference Organiser Let us know if you go (or are planning to go!)
Guest RobMiles Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 I've added the final programme for the day to the Slide5 web site (www.slide5.com). If you are interested in signing up please do so quickly, since I'm going to have to confirm the numbers quite soon. If you are a student who has just graduated and wants some mobile smarts to put on your CV you are also welcome to turn up.
