Whats the quickest way to open up blank Text

OK, i need to know how to open up a blank text message quickly, instead of going through the START menu every time.

Any ideas anyone?

I did do it so that if i went into a new text and hit the HOME button then everytime i hit the BACK button i would go into the text message compose screem, but this fails t owork after i open up other programs, as the BACK button goes to the recently opened program instead.

You can have a link to messages from your Homescreen, but that usually/always links to the Messaging menu (SMS, MMS, Email accounts etc) so you'd still have to choose SMS, then New etc

If you've got an Orange C500 you can use their Homescreen plugin to shortcut straight to a new message, but I'm not aware of any Homescreens using that facility (other than the Orange-built ones)
