I manage to recieve files via bluetooth on my MPx 220 and it says on screen that ive recieved them... but i cant find them anywhere, cant even find a setting to choose a folder to save to. help please?

Check for them in: \Storage\My Documents\FTP

Dont have that folder, still cant find them, i got my MMS messages on \Storage\My documents but still can find bluetooth recieves files

Seems strange that they aren't in the same folder as on mine. Here are a couple registry keys to check:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Obex\IsEnabled

(make sure this is set to 1)

Also check:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Obex\Services\{f9ec7bc4-953c-11d2-984e-525400dc9e09}\BaseDir

(this should contain the path to where the files will be deposited)

how does one check these registry keys?? my friend is having the same problem with his mpx220 when im sending him files via bluetooth from my smt5600 it goes through on his phone and asks if he wants to save and we click yes but then we cant find where the file has gone

ok we can get somethings to show up in Storage/My Documents...files were less than 1mb

anything 1mb+ will not show up...how can we fix/solve this problem?

the files that we are trying to send but will not send are videos

once in file manager, go menu\find\ type the name of the video between the **

Are you sure that files that large are sending over bluetooth OK - I've heard of limits on the bluetooth send/recieve. The size 300k has been mentioned before for other phones. I'll try sending some 1Mb files later and see if I can do it or not.

we did that...but well try it again, maybe we didnt do it right

im 100% sure they are sending b.c. on my smt5600 it reaches 100% for sending file and on the mpx220 we get a message asking if we want to save the file.

as for a 300k limit..we have sent audio and images of about 500k-750k big
