Guest deadpickle Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I have been using homescreen designer to make homescreens lately and have noticed something that bothers me. When i make the homescreen background image i use the resolution 176x220 which i believe to be the resolution for my smartphone screen. when i go to transfer it to my phone the phone's screen clips the image alittle bit from the top. Why does it do this? also is there anyway i can change the resolution on my photoshop canvas so that im working with the real displayed resolution? Clipping spikes head is unacceptable, if you know what i mean (cowboy bebop).
Guest BrAGoL Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 176x220 pixels are used for splashscreens... and is the actual size resolution of our display... if you want to use it as your home background image, you should re-size it to 176x200... take notice of the size of the Menu Bar that's taking space in the HS background...
