Guest hian Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Hi to you all. I'm currently using the mpx200. Just wondering if there is any way to delete those preloded ringtones. thanks.
Guest Disco Stu Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 Welcome to the forum ;) Even if you could find a way they would only be rewritten by the ROM when you restart your phone.
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Welcome to the site ;) Basically everthing in the main Windows folder gets rewritten every time the phone is rebooted. This includes any applications and homescreens etc.
Guest hian Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 thanks. ;) so basically there is no way to throw those things away, rite? by the way, i've upgraded the rom to 2003 and so the storage space is getting a bit near the limit. that's y i was wondering if i can delete those unwanted preloaded wallpapers and ringtones...
Guest awarner [MVP] Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 The only advice is to install your applications and games on the storagecard and not the phone. Something else to look for is making sure you delete your old sms and emails including ones you have sent.
Guest hian Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 thanks for your advice, awarner [MVP]. yeah, that's basically what i'm doing at the moment. everything in the storagecard. ;)
