Guest mjoyeux Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I use Mozilla Firebird for my email, it's pretty much all I want from an email program. I have outlook 2003 on my computer which links up with my c500 for my contacts and my calender, but I don't want to use outlook for my email. How can I go about setting up my phones email without having Outlook start trying to download my emails? Any help would be massively appreciated...
Guest MarkH Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 (edited) presume you mean "thunderbird"? - the problem is thunderbird is purely an email client rather than a PIM so you miss out on all the other things that can be sync'd (tasks, calendar etc). This is where outlook offers big advantages. I have used both a lot at work, and personally i'd change to outlook 2003 instead. (if you have lot's of email's in thunderbird, you can still convert them to outlook - let me know if you need assistance). Edited April 28, 2005 by MarkH
