Guest Labyrinth Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 AH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I managed to download an animated screen but i needed to take of my privacy control on norton. now when i try 2 open it it says: 'there is no application associated with 'gpc1.3d.db.3'. Run the application first and then open this file inside the application.' What?! how can i open the thing that lets me have animated backgrounds when it is invisible on my phone?
Guest gpcarreon (MVP) Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 File extension should be ZIP not 3. Use WinZIP or WinRAR to extract contents of the archive. EDIT... Wait a second. Just like to clarify. The link from MoDaCo download system provides ZIP download right? Once finished downloading the zip file, extract the contents. Inside you'll see a txt and a CAB file. Copy the CAB file to \Storage\windows\Start menu\Accessories , open Accessories folder (Start > Accessories), look for GPC inside, click to install. ;)
Guest Labyrinth Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 i unzipped it and put it onto my phone. now when i open it it says download complete and starts 2 install it then an error comes up saying 'GPC.3D. Dancing baby.3. CA failed to install on your device

I use the animation editor provided by madbeetle: http://www.madbeetle.com/homescreen_page1.html It is very user-friendly. The animated homescreen plugin plays only *.ani files generated by the animation editor. The plugin wont run gifs you have on your computer. You need to make your own homescreen animations out of the static graphic files or animated gifs. ;)
