c500 + globalsat gps receiver does it work

Hi think I have read most of the posts still struggling I have tt mob working

fine on nokia 6260 with globalsat receiver I bought a new c500 first thing I did

was pay to get it unlocked then updated the s/w to 4.1.5.5 could not get tt mob

to get a signal reverted back to s/w 4.1.1.4 still cant get it to work

I have tried all solutions I can find no joy .

1 my ? are does c500 have to be paired with receiver if so does it need renamed to wireless gps or not

2 what ports do you enable 6 or 7 or both or none

3 does the traffic patch need to be installed

4 will it work with s/w 4.1.5.5

I can pop the card into any nokia it will install and work straight away

so I guess it is down to the settings on the c500

if anyone has this combo or similar working can you please guide me on the settings

update to above finally got it working no idea how but if anyone is

Hi I updated phoe s/w to RUU_v1.00_OrangeCH_v4.1.5.5 it was RUU_v0.995_OrangeUK_v4.1.1.4

installed the traffic patch on tt

paired the globalsat did not change the name no passkey

both ports 6 and 7 are ticked

bluetooth setting to discoverable

my receiver is globalsat bluetooth gps bt-308 with spv c500

I also Have version 4.1.1.2 how do you update it to 4.1.5.5? I cant get this globalsat to work for love or money. Any help will be appreciated.
