Guest needless Posted April 28, 2005 Report Posted April 28, 2005 I've been faffing about and finally got the orange unlock website (mentioned on your forum) working and I got the confirmation message come up to say that my phone has been unlocked (I connected to a random WAP page to recieve this. However if I run the downloaded ActionRegister.ARM.cab.exe file on the phone, it is still coming up 'Lock: Running' (although at least it says 'registered' now). I've tried turning the phone off and on again but its the same. Does it take a while to work properly?

Have you tried to install anything since ?
Guest needless Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Yes, sorry wasnt quite clear - I was talking about app unlocking (Certificate Security Disabling). Yes tried installing things since and the same thing is happening - only certain apps will install. (see my other post in this section).
Guest needless Posted April 29, 2005 Report Posted April 29, 2005 Actually Pocketmusic installs now!! Despite Action Register still saying the phone is locked... ;) Oh well, I'll try a few more apps!!

Guest mupwangle Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 ACtion register seems to always say it is running whether the cert lock is on or not. Email the orange developers and they'll send you a wee prog to cert unlock the phone. Takes them about 2 days. (this is imei specific so you have to get them to send it to you)
Guest Rayat Posted July 19, 2005 Report Posted July 19, 2005 can anyone tell me what their email is? cus' every time i try to write them a main from their site it tells me that my imei number isnt in their database.... :?:
