sms not working?

Hi everyone, ive been browsing for a while now...

i recently got an mpx200 flashed to the EDIT firmware

It works perfectly fine, and the battery is a lil iffy, but i can live with it...

anyways, i dont use SMS that much, but there are times when i do...

I tried to send a msg to one friend on one day and got this problem...

It just stays at the compose screen when i click send. send highlights, showing i pressed the button and nothing happens.

I tried today to send another one and the same thing happened...

i just got this phone, so i dont know the ins and outs of it...

It's best to get used to it before playing with ilegal rom files ;)

As for the problem, have you just installed the JMMS application to the storage card? This can cause a similar problem to what you are experiencing as the app needs to be installed on the phone.

The other thing that can happen is if you have installed your apps to the phone and not the storage card (apart from the JMMS app as this is one of the only apps that must be installed to the phone).

If you fill the phone's storage enough it can stop you from sending SMS as it needs to write the message to the phone's memory before sending.

well, considering i dont have a storage card just yet, I really cant say thats the problem.

and I have filled my phones storage up with wma's

i guess ill remove one or two and try to send a msg.

edit: i got rid of one song and tried it

I recieved the message sent notification, so im assuming that was the problem.
