I know a couple of people have been asking about recording calls, and I got this in an e-mail and wondered if it would work in the Smart Phone, the options are there. Anyone tried it:

Here's a neat trick you can do with your Pocket PC Phone Edition that you probably can't do with your old phone. Did you know you can record single phone conversations or keep track of conference calls with your Pocket PC? This would come in very handy if you would like to remember exactly what a conversation was about, days after the conversation had taken place! Of course, you can also use it to make sure you get what you are promised when you call your telephone company to sort out your account!

Before you do this, you should be aware of the laws in your area regarding recording phone conversations. You should also tell the person you are talking to that you are going to record the phone conversation. Having done that, read on...

To record a phone call, start the phone call as per normal, then once you have started the phone call, open the notes application, select New from the menu bar at the bottom, and select the button. You should see the recording bar at the bottom of the screen.

No it doesn't work

You cant start a recording if a call is in progress.

I wonder if you can if you start the call, put it on hold, start the recording, then resume the call.

Bit of a hasle though...
