Silence a call without rejecting it?

Hi Guys and Girls,

Is there anyway of silencing a call on a C500 without rejecting it? You know how it is, sometimes you dont want to take a call but dont want the caller to know you rejected it? ;)

On my mitac 8390 you can silence the ring by pressing the volume key

I mentioned this in another topic. when i do this.. the ringer silences and the call still keeps ringing.. but i can hear the other person on the other end!!!!! what may cause this.. its COOL!!
