This seems to be happening alot of the time? Any ideas? it would say that is the card is probably not in the device, or has problem if the area is available in the list Also is there any way of stopping cab files being installed onto the phones memory?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am assuming you are referrinf tp the apps in the extended rom following a hard reset and the answer is yes, all you need to do is perform a soft reset after you have set the time following screen alignment after a hard reset. Guest rizzles Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 The card is in the phone and seems to be ok. Programs that are on it seem to be working ok. In regards to the cab files i meant that when i install a program that is a cab it automaticly installs it onto the phones memory and doesnt give me an option to install onto the storage card. Any way of doing this?
Guest andysalmon Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 It sounds like your card (or Jam!) needs attention. If both are ok when you install with PPC it will ask if you want to use the default location for the files. Click no and you can select storage/storage card. This is as opposed to Windows mobile which asks first before presuming people want to use the device memory.
Guest rizzles Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 Yeah it does ask that but when i select the storage card it says that it is unavailable.
