I've seen on some C500 screenshot that on the left on the START button there's the windows logo. It's a wm2003se enhancement or it's a plugin?

If it's a plugin, I WANT IT!

Thanks

You can only turn off the logo from SE phones but as beery mentions

you can not add it to other OS versions.

There is one way of doing it on pre-2003SE phones, but it involves a crayon and piece of stcky paper on the screen. If anyone wants to know how to do this amazing mod, please reply and I'll post step by step instructions.

Sorry guys, couldn't resist! ;)

That's a good idea

But how to remove it when I exit from the home screen? ;)

I think I can make that work with a couple of small modifications.

If I attach a small pyrotechnic charge under the paper linked to the left softkey, and a small spring under it linked to the "home" button, it should work.

Must remember to hook it up the keylock - I'd hate either to automatically activate in the pocket. Could cause some very interesting "Smartphone mod castrated me" topics with picture attachments.....

Thanks to Darren T for the tip!

To remove the Start Menu flag, using PHM Registry Editor, navigate to HKLMSoftwareMicrosoftShell, create a key called Home, and add the entry 'Dptf' with the value 'DWORD:3'.

Reboot, and hey presto - no more flag!
