Guest Confucious Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 Yes, you need it app unlocked. What format is the homescreen in? if it's a .hme file just copy it to the phone and run it and t will install itself. HTH

Guest Confucious Posted April 30, 2005 Report Posted April 30, 2005 ok next question how do i app unlock? and is there a chance i could kill my phone by doing so? A search would have found you this thread which answers your questions better than I can.
Guest BigLee1 Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 Sorry to jump in on this thread, but i see your talking about hme files. Are these the same as the CAB files that can be found on here? I have been over to http://www.lemondeduskin.com/ and noticed that the majority of their homescreens are in the hme file format. Can i safely install these themes on my C500?
Guest Disco Stu Posted May 2, 2005 Report Posted May 2, 2005 I can't tell you what the difference is exactly, but the installation is the same. There are no safety issues ;)
