C500 started randomly lighting up.

Hi i just noticed today that when i left my phone next to me. every few minutes the backlight would randomly come on. i had not recieved a call or text, it just lit up. it has done it a few times in the last 10 minutes,and i was wondering if this was a common problem or something simple etc..

It's quite normal - I wouldn't worry about it.

There could be a number of explanations : battery charge complete, signal loss / gain etc

I find I get that for a while, then all of a sudden I'll get 10 messages from the last 4 weeks or so from my g/f O2 phone. I keep getting (every few days) a message that I first got on the 28 Feb!!!!

O2 + SMS = Trouble. It was for this very reason I left O2.
