Storage Card as default location ?

Is it possibe to make some setting change so that when installing applications via ActiveSync the deault location for installation is the STORAGE CARD instead of directly to the phone?

Whereas PPC installation gives you the option on the PC screen, with Smartphones you get the options on the phone screen.

I have not heard of anything that will make this pre-defined.

To make the location predefined, the author of the app would have to make the install point to the specific location.

When compiling CAB files, authors have the option to 'not allow user to select installation directory'. In that case, they can specify the target location for instance:

File: XXX.txt

Location: \Storage Card\My Folder\

Examples of compilers which can do such operations are WinCE CAB Manager and InstallShield. ;)
