Guest Alex_le_brit Posted May 3, 2005 Report Posted May 3, 2005 I've been having a lot of trouble getting a signal the last couple of days when at home, and this morning instead of dipslaying the operator's name, or no service and the little "no-entry" icon, I get the aerial icon, with no signal strength bars, and where the operator's name should be it says "HOME SERVICE". Does anyone know what this is ? I'm wondering if it's got anything at all to do with me installing CellTrack?
Guest Alex_le_brit Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 Now it's saying the SIM is invalid, I fear my phone's been possessed, especially as the last four games of SOlitaire, I won and the score was 666. I've contacted my operator Breizh Mobile, who are looking into it, but if anyone's had anything similar, it'd be good to know. I've got an irrational fear that it's something to do with CellTrack, but I don't know why.
Guest PayableOnDeath Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 :S hmm dont think its celltrack cos more people would have this prob me thinks maybe your network cut you off ? ;)
Guest Alex_le_brit Posted May 4, 2005 Report Posted May 4, 2005 (edited) :S hmm dont think its celltrack cos more people would have this prob me thinks maybe your network cut you off ? ;) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I hope they didn't, can't see why they would, I'm on PAYG so it's not like I owe them money. Lets hope they didn't consider using CellTrack an abuse in some way. Just seems a coincidence that the first time I use Celltrack on GPRS and not PASSTHRU, my phone goes funny within 30 mins.
