Orange Backup / Update problem

Folks, I confess...I coc*ed it up. I been messing about. I installed that French update on my C500...love it to bits..very nice update..speed, WMP10 etc. Only thing is, Orange Update/Backup is in french. So I got the following files from my 'other' C500 (English) and placed them in my French \Windows directory:

1. LAUNCH_AEUPDATE.EXE

2. LAUNCH_AUBACKUP.EXE

Now I thought they were the only files needed...seems is not the case as when I try to run, I get..."could not find the necessary files" etc...

anyone else know which other files need to accompany this.

if not, then can someone point me as to where I could get the above to files in French....even even better...(and you'd be a star!) could someone send me the french versions of the above from their smartphone to me email addy:
