c500 o2 network

Hi is it poss that my unlocked c500 can lock out my o2 sim card from working on the phone?

the phone has been working perfect for 3 weeks, now it is not picking up any network what so ever???

the other day i went on the orange web site to app unlock my phone.....cud this have caused my problem?

It's unlikely that application unlocking has caused this. Have you checked the settings in Settings\Phone\Networks

Yes i have checked in that menu, it just says current network DENIED, SEARCHING..... and i can not get any network at all!! i know the sim card is ok cos i tried it in my old K700i and the c500 does work with another sim card just not the o2 one???
