Does anyone have a guide that shows me how to remove all of the AT&T logos/mMode/options from my SMT 5600? I have an unlocked phone that I'm using on T-Mobile and I'd like to replace the start mMode screen, AT&T Wireles dialing screen, and mMode links on the homescreen.

Thanks.

thats great I only want to remove that AT&T wireless logo when its dailing to something better, but I'm guessing that is locked to in the ROM and cannot be modified.. However the startup screens and log off screens u can change them with certain themes..

You can change the logo when dialing.

I can't remember where I found the info., here or on Howardforums, but it can be done. Basically the info changes it to "Cingular", but I just modified the JPG file to have T-Mobile and replaced it and changed the reg edit info.

I can find the info for you this weekend when I am not too busy.

Here is the link for "Unbranding" your phone.

The link will give you a file to download, and it will walk you through the process. Heck, if I can do it, you can too. Just change the JPG or GIF ( I can't remember what file format) that he gives you to something you want. REMEMBER to take the included image and do a SAVE AS and rename it. Make your changes to the new file and use the new image. This made it easy for me, as I didn't have to guess what size the image needed to be, I just cut, pasted and resized.

Remember that you will have to adjust the REG EDIT info. to reflect the new name of the image you just made.
