Smartmonitor help please.

The thread for this softare/plug-in seems to be dead, so I'm posting here to see if anyone knows the answer.

I downloaded Smartmonitor to my SMT 5600, and I can't get the file to work. I ran the CAB file from my storage card and it seemed to install o.k., but I don't see the program listed.

Is this a plugin that can only be seen with the appropriate home screen?
