Brand New C500

I'm finally getting my C500 in the next few hours.

Usual battery type question, can I use it whilst it does it's first charge or am I best leaving until fully charged?

Also, would it be a good idea to do a hard reset as soon as I get it as a preventative measure?

Its worth leaving it off for 3- 4 hours whilst on charge

Dont hard reset it - theres the whiff of an update on the horizon and that will do almost the same

The two I've had both came fully charged, though I always leave them charge for a good few hours first anyway.

mine came fully charged too.

i couldn't wait to play with it, so once the green light came on to say the charge was at it's maximum, which was after about 2 or 3 minutes, it was straight off charge and i was playing!

i've never had any ill effects from my battery as a result and get 4 days use easy out of a fully charged battery...

just a note, because it shows as fully charged DOES NOT mean it is! one of the points of fully charging the battery is to calibrate the battery monitor
