How do i shorten the SMS vibrate

Hello,

I have got a SPV C500 and have recently put on a short 7-10 second WAV clip of The Prodigy's ONE LOVE as an SMS tone.

BUT

when it vibrates it does so for AT LEAST double the amount of time i can hear it. So i can hear the text come in, unlock my phone, open the text, read it, and close it, by the time it has stopped vibrating.

So is there a way i can shorten the length of time it vibrates for?

Did you ever figure this out. The long vibrate on my SP5 really bugs me too!
