MDA3 sound distorted when playing mp3's etc

Hi all, i recently got my MDA 3 but every time i play an mp3 on it or video the sound is distorted as in it crackles. Is any1 else having this problem or is it a fault on my mobile?

I've just got an orange M2000 today and that's doing the same. Someone else i know has the MDA 3 and suffers the same problem - seems to be a design fault. It only does it on top volume but it's a bit annoying. I either have to turn it down a couple of notches (and miss the ocassional call) or accept the fact that it sounds cr@p and might ruin the speaker further.
