Guest jackk Posted May 7, 2005 Report Posted May 7, 2005 i 'd like to use the spv m2000 usb cradle to send and receive wav files to a host pc running w98. i dont have outlook installed and dont need it except activesync wont install without it. another pc i have simply uses an MA620 IR gadget with no probs sending and recieving jpegs and small wav files to and from m2000. any help would be appreciated. jk
Guest fraser Posted May 8, 2005 Report Posted May 8, 2005 You'll need ActiveSync to use the USB I think. If you can somehow get the phone on the network (wifi perhaps?), you could use Windows File Sharing to browse the PC's shares on the phone. You could also go for a low tech solution, using a card-reader. I've got a little USB one that takes SD-cards, quite handy to carry around as it will work on any PC without needing drivers.
Guest rickyburke Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 (edited) You could even go for one of those new sandisk sd cards which have a built in usb adapter! they look so cool, if only i could find one!!!!!!! http://www.engadget.com/entry/1234000683026343/ Edited May 11, 2005 by rickyburke
