The "G" Thing

Hi!

The "G" (for GPRS) on my friends mobile keep disappearing. What's causing it? Is there a fix?

With my old SAP, I always see that G thing (except when I go beyond my credit limit). With my C500 (French ROM), G appears only with GPRS access (sending and receiving MMS or sending CellTrack names to online DB). Sometimes G is there but most of the time I dont see it. I assume the latter case to be normal so no fix required for something aint broken. I can still send SMS and make phone calls anyway. ;)
