blind hard reset for SPV classic

hey, i need a little help here...

i need to hard reset my SPV classic but the screen doesent work!!! can some one give me a guide to do it without the screen? e.g. "press the record button and the on button at the same time, wait for 8 seconds for it to load then press the down key 8 time... etc"

any help would be great!

Unfotunately you need the screen as there would be no way to confirm wether you hav managed to do the hard reset ot not.

Also the timing involved to get to the bootloader screen is the biggest hurdle to get over as it's easier said than done.

also i doubt that hard resetting would fix the screen if thats what you are trying to do.

I would rerun the last update, that will do the same job as hard resetting!

im not trying to fix the screen, its just im selling it and i dont want my contacts etc still on there when the person gets it, incase he fixes the screen and sees them.

ill try running the update, hopefully it will work!
