Apart from trying to understand the txt speak in your post ;) it sounds like your battery needs replacing. Otherwise the charging circuit is faulty, but replacing the battery is the first step.

You can send the phone off for repair but you will probably be looking at at least £75 for a new screen etc here's the link you will need.

Do you think when i get a new battery maybe a hard reset could sort it out?? or is that nothing to do wiv it?

Hi, a hard reset won't fix the problem...but if you ring htc at 08712230217 and explain what happened, they will be able to help. I suggest you do this before you buy another battery, unless you don't mind the possiblity of getting another phone in the end and having an extra battery. If you talk to HTC and decide you don't want to have it fixed, then you can get another phone (but if you buy one on ebay, try and find someone who has kept their original receipt as this will help you on the warranty with HTC...you'll pay a bit more money, but it's worth it to know your warranty is covered, unless it's water damaged of course or dropped. As far as your old phone, should you decide not to get it fixed, stick it on ebay as a faulty handset, water damaged, and sell it for the screen, or keep it for yourself as the screens from what I've seen are a bit hard to get hold of. I've seen other handsets, water damaged and faulty go on ebay for £50 on up...Note: don't pay too much for a second hand c500 especially one without the receipt....you can get them brand new all day long from £140-£150... unless you want the silver one. 8)

Good luck they will do anything so they dont have to payout

tbh your better off saving the money in savings account then pay the insurance cos you will get interest on it and also prob have the money for a new phone in there

HTC are the people that make the phone

yes they will prob charge you as far as I know water damage not covered under warranty

High Tech Computer Corporation I think.

Not sure on the cost if you send it back.

My motherboard got replaced under warranty as within a year free of charge.

Only bad thing is these things take long. I sent in my C500 to Audiovox and it wook 1month +.. I had to pay 40$ to send it to America.. and shipping back of course is free and all I gave them was the little booklet 2 pages or so that explains warantee, I didn't even give them a recipt etc .. which was good.. they replaced it free of charge.
