spv c500 deviuce lock HELP PLZ!

Plz help ne1 i have a spv c500 and the device lock is on but i cant remeber the password. is there neway round it at all even when i plug it into computer it asks for a password b4 connectin :cry: :cry:

cheers for ur help so far ian but my phone says spv on front and c500 on back so which reset is it tried both but nothing

Hi, if you start the process with the phone turned OFF, (please someone correct me if I'm wrong here), hold both soft keys as instructed, and at the same time push and hold power button for 1- 1.5 seconds and let off the power button. The timing of the power button is really really sensitive (took me about 20 repeats before I got mine to hard reset)..just be patient with it and keep trying... 8)
