Guest zero_divide_1 Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 Is there a way to disable the Voice Notes application on the MPx220? Now the app is attached to the volume control. TIA roma <{POST_SNAPBACK}> There is a way, but in doing so you will not be able to use Voice Notes again. If you go to HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSTNOTES the value "1" has in it ":MSPOUTLOOK notes". You could replace this with another program if you wanted, of (theoretically) you could leave it blank and it wouldn't run anything. However, if you change this value, the Voice Notes link in the Start Menu does not work anymore. I'm currently working on a program that solves this, but the link seems to be burned into the ROM and is not replacable. Me, I don't use voice notes so it doesn't really make a huge difference for me.
Guest estaticd Posted May 21, 2005 Report Posted May 21, 2005 (edited) I beleive this registry key is what you're looking for: HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\KeyBd\VSCommand Line Or it's right around that area. ;) Edited May 21, 2005 by estaticd
