Guest franklasvegas Posted May 9, 2005 Report Posted May 9, 2005 Hello all: Just purchased a SMT5600 (AT&T) and successfully unlocked - phone is operating flawlessly under Cingular. I am using the article by Raphael Salgado's (aka BeyondtheTech) document of 01-04-2005 to remove any of the AT&T stuff. So far - I am OK in the process except for two (2) things I was hoping someone can help me with (can't find a contact for him). 1) There is a scetion where I need to MOVE the mMode.Ink file to another folder via explore in the Sync mode. When I try - I get a message that the file is READY-ONLY - this also happens with one other file I need to rename to *.OLD. Any ideas how I change the atributes? 2) To have a cingular log at startup I need to point it to \Windows\WhatEver\Cingular.gif but I cannot figure out how to get the "\" symbol with T9 input. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Frank in Las Vegas, NV

Use the built in File explorer/manager-don't use any 3rd party such as smart explorer. Once you highlight the file, go Menu>files and check out options to either move or rename accordings. 2) To have a cingular log at startup I need to point it to \Windows\WhatEver\Cingular.gif but I cannot figure out how to get the "\" symbol with T9 input. Hold T9 button and you will see an option for symbols, click on that and there you will find \ symbol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ope this helps. Frank in Las Vegas, NV <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
