Recieving via Bluetooth

how do you receive files via bluetooth? my m8 keeps trying to send me files from his nokia and everytime it says sending failed, my spv500 never seems to do anything though, very disappointed at the moment, not really a smartphone, my wifes SE t610 can receive them no trouble, what am I doing wrong, got Mobiluk installed but it does not seem to do nething

In settings select incoming beams.

You also helps if you bond the devices.
