Guest bronksy Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 Hi folks, Whats the skinny on the initial charge of the M2000 Batterie(s). I see the manual says 8 hours.. is this correct for once? I know it's the eternal discussion, but just wondering.. Also trying to figure out how Orange can print in the manual about line 2 and the phone doesn't support it fully.. can this be solved in a firmware update? I alsready have Line 2 but why would people buy it and not be able to make calls and use their minutes up. I still have chat 60 on line 2, at a fiver a month it's not bad, but Orange seem to care less and less about Line 2. Wouldn't surprise me if it's phased out soon. I think they should have a line 2 option just for incoming calls and always rings throught to Line 1, it's just another number you can give out to clients.. for a small mimumum charge a month, say 3quid or something. Like BT offer, for about 1.50 a quarter! be good R
Guest Pondrew Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 (edited) My understanding of Line 2 and the HTC Blue Angel is that it will support Line 2 in so far as any incoming call on the 2nd line can be answered. There is no way however of dialling out on Line 2... As far as charging goes you can use the device while it is charging. It will automatically turn itself on as soon as you plug in the power anyway. I left mine plugged in 8hours but it stopped charging long before that. Edited May 10, 2005 by Pondrew
Guest bronksy Posted May 10, 2005 Report Posted May 10, 2005 i wanna play with it NOW.. I hate this charging malarkey. I notice that the Orange manuals are a little more realistic now regarding charging, It seems that they've actually learnt something for once, the OCS reps and the manual say the same thing. It's a start!
