Is anyone aware of any software that will allow you to view the C500 from within Windows as a removable storage device?

I know it can be accessed through the PC using Activesync, but I need a solution to allow the device to be listed in Windows Explorer and all apps. as if it was a removable hard drive.

Thanks.

I think I've seen somewhere it'll be a standard for Windows Mobile 5

I thought the question was rather optimistic!

Thanks anyway ...

afraid its not possible.

Is that because the software isn't there, or because the hardware isn't capable of it?

I assume that it's because the USB is a slave port only, so software can't be run on the C500 to "see" the dekstop PC, right? If that's the case, would there be anything stopping someone developing a small desktop driver that I could install on the four or five PC's that I would want to connect my phone to, to enable them to "see" the C500 as a drive?

This would certainly be a usefull appliation to have. Im sure ive seen Digi Cameras that have a function along these lines, you plug the camera in via USB and it shows as a removable drive (juts like if you plugged a card reader in)

I wonder if they could do it with Bluetooth? Bluetooth removable storage sounds yummy...
