I use to have 495 posts somewhere in there now look where i am.?

Maybe Paul thought you were posting to catch Awarner's 10,000 odd posts and reduced them ;)

There seems to be some problem with the synching of posts.

I'm just this minute running a post count re-sync, the count gets out of sync with deleted posts etc. etc., so it needs to be manually synced every so often

Deleted posts were not taken away from the post count but the resync has corrected this.

I ran a resync, which basically recounts all the posts on the forum, as the counter can sometimes get out of sync.

So, the figure now is correct.

I thought the forum was for chatting and giving and getting advice, not just to see how many posts you can accumulate.

Are you using MoDaCo for the reason it is there or some other? ;)

Mentioning no names, but someone had to have quite a few posts deleted when he first joined the forum for just that reason. :evil:

Perhaps he shouldn't be drawing attention to the discrepancy while the memory of chasing the bugger round the various threads is still fresh in a certain moderator's mind ;)
