Guest 6thElement Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 Before I get flamed I've searched but couldn't find a thread specifically for the Magician. I've just changed from a C500 to a Qtek S100. Is there a way to turn on delivery reports by default instead of per message on the Magician? Where do I change the setting for message validity (ie 1 hour/1 week etc)? C500 had these options and I'm hoping the Magician isn't like the older smartphones which lacked this ability.
Guest koksie Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 On www.xda-developers.com you can find a little patch called Dorucenka.ARM.cab. Install this and you will have permanent SMS delivery notification. If you want to you can also manually edit the register with PHM register editor (www.phm.lu for free download) and do it manually. Which keys to edit can also be found on www.xda-developers.com, search for Permanent Message Delivery Notification.
Guest 6thElement Posted May 11, 2005 Report Posted May 11, 2005 Thanks, the thread with the information is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=15663 I've installed the applet so I can turn it off and on at will rather than having to change a registry key. I still haven't found an option to change the message validity length?
Guest feeta Posted May 24, 2005 Report Posted May 24, 2005 Does anyone have a link to the .cab file? I've tried looking on xda-developers but can't seem to find the file. Thanks for any help. Cheers ;)
Guest 6thElement Posted May 25, 2005 Report Posted May 25, 2005 You need to be logged in on XDA to see the files for download.
Guest feeta Posted May 26, 2005 Report Posted May 26, 2005 Yeah, I'm logged in but still can't see any file! :?: Perhaps I'm just being an idiot!
