Evening peeps, been an age since I last posted, mainly because I went off my spv's a tad and started a lovely little collection of symbian handsets.

Anyway getting back to the subject and question in hand. As I said I’ve been using a few symbian handsets and I have a stack of MMC cards, I recently went out and joined the pocketpc race and bought an M2000 but now unfortunately when I put any of my mmc cards into my spv it wont read them. So far I’ve only managed to get one 2 work.

I’ve tried to reformat them but I can only do that on my symbian handsets themselves as I don’t have a separate card reader, if I even connect my symbian handset up to my pc, like my spv it does not see my mmc cards (its as if they aint there, which we know aint the case).

So what I'm more or less asking is: -

1) Has anyone else experienced this?

2) Is there a work around so I can format my card and get my m2000 to read it, or something?

I am having the same problem with a 128 SD card - I pop it in the top, but my M2000 isn't picking it up.

Am I supposed to be using a different type of card or how do I format it correctly using my PC or the M2000 itself?

Help anyone?

Erm.... please ignore my above comment - I've realised after 17 hours that I was putting it in the wrong way round........

The Orange Phone trainer did tell me I was more suited to the Nokia 3210.........

I need some sleep

Have you tried soft resetting it once you have put the card in? I put my card in and it did not rcognise it, but when I did a soft reset it found it. Been fine since

I'm using a Sandisk 128 MMC in my XdaIIs, which I've used in my 9210i for ages. Works absolutely fine, but then I reckon I had formatted it back then with the 9210i as well.
