Hi all

I'm throwing this out to you all in the hope of some good feedback.

My company (IT related) are replacing all our company mobiles (Nokia 6310i's) with Smartphones and they have picked up on the C500 on Orange which a couple of staff already have as personal mobiles.

Do you guys have any suggestions as alternatives to the C500 I could put forward to them as it is open to discussion in our department! Or is the C500 the best option!?!

We are in the UK so are limited to those network providers (obviously). A tariff with unlimited GPRS would be beneficial

Looking forward to your thoughts...

Andy

If you're definitely looking for a Smartphone, then as far as I know the C500 is the best option. Other Smartphone's (MPx220, i-mate) are too difficult to get hold of to compare - plus you get Orange backing you up with the C500.

The only real alternatives out there to a C500 are Pocket PC's. Have you explored that option, or are you really just looking for a phone replacement with added bells and whistles rather than a full PDA?

Thanks for your thoughts. We have gone the PDA route (XDA II, M2000) but they are just too bulky to be honest.

As you say... we are after a phone that can sync our mail, use msn and er.... make phone calls!

I'd go for the C500, not PDA as you guys are used to a small size. It'll be a wonder for basic corporate usage.
