I don't know the answer, but why would you want to stream it to your phone when you will have to be within 10m of your computer to watch it?

I think thats the perfect answer ;) - though some dongles can do further than 10.

Streaming from your PC i don't think is possible over bluetooth - becuase

1. - The bandwidth of bluetooth probably isn't high enough (please correct me if im wrong)

2. - What the guy above me said

3. - The only reason you want to do this i asume is becuase you cannot this the moive on your phone - well if you can't fit it on your phone then its bound to be recorded at a too high speed (in terms or kbps) and there fore your phone can't play it anyway

4. - whats the point of doing it anyway?

5. - there is no point 5

6. - whats the point of doing it anyway?

A bit off topic, but:

my dongle does 100m but I read in another post (Confuncious) that because the phone only does 10, its doesn't make any difference.

My sync doesn't work from too far away so I am believing the above to be true.

ok i understand your argument but understand mine,

firstly i dont want this because i really really want it or for that matter that i really need it, but because it may be possible.

Why would you want to know if its possible, ask the guy who suggested having a camera built into the phone. we know that the bluetooth range is just shy of 10m but who's to say that wont change pretty soon, it was only considered 3yrs ago that the average household would not need a wireless network because of its constraints, you only need to look now to see that wired networks are fastly becoming the minority.

so i leave you with this do we as humans look to the sky and see our limits or do we wonder what possibly lies beyond!

yes but a camera phone has its uses.

Asking if you can stream video over bluetooth is a good question - even if its just to see if there is an answer - and to see if you can get it to work . . . but in comparison to alot of forward thinking ideas your is right up there with . . I wonder what would happen if i tied my comb to my hairdryer... or fitting wheels to a tomato . . . time consuming and pointless.

The future isn't bluetooth it is wifi - when by the end of the year our smartphones have wifi then we will be able to stream.

Its a nice idea but bluetooth is too unstable (as you might have guessed trying to setup activesync) and the technology has too many constraints.

Am i right in saying bluetooth pulses and isn't a continuous stream like wifi?

anyway - im not getting at you or trying to be rude - you asked a question i gave you my answer.
